How do I print an article or GEMS?
This article explains how to print an article or GEMS from the redwhale.co.uk website.
Before downloading and printing an article or GEMS, please be aware that downloaded content does not automatically get updated by Red Whale.
You can print and/or download up to 5 articles or GEMS per month from our website for your own personal use (see our Terms of Use).
Be aware that when you use a printed or downloaded article or GEMS, you may not be viewing the most up-to-date version. We regularly review our written resources as new evidence and guidelines are released.
You may prefer to use our bookmark feature for quick and easy access to online versions or articles and GEMS, to ensure you are always using the most up-to-date version (and to make sure you are compliant with copyright laws).
- Log into your account at www.redwhale.co.uk
- Head to the article card of your choice and click on it to open
- Once on the article, press control and P on your keyboard (Command and P for MacBook)
- This will bring up a popup menu. At the printer dropdown menu, select to save as a PDF
- You can also amend the scale and page size in this popup menu
- Once you are happy with the page and scale, click on Save
- This will download the PDF file to your device downloads
- If you are on a mobile, head to the article and find the share button on your browser (Location of share button dependant on browser and phone)
- Click on the share button and choose to save as a PDF which will download to your device downloads
